Connecting Mothers (and Fathers) with Businesses
We often hear how difficult it is to find good, motivated employees. At the same time, many dedicated mothers tell us they struggle to find attractive positions after their parental leave. This led to the creation of MUTTERSCHAFFT in 2013. The second “f” is not a typo but a testament to the productivity and dedication of mothers and fathers. “Schaffen” means to contribute and engage.
Some seek part-time positions, while others want to work flexibly in full-time roles as they transition into a new phase after years of raising children. MUTTERSCHAFFT was one of the first platforms to prioritize the life experience and motivation of mothers. Today, more mothers (and fathers) choose to spend time with their families and therefore demand flexible work arrangements.
Modern work models, new technologies, and breaking old patterns offer many opportunities: Why does it always have to be a full-time position? Can’t the work be done, at least partially, from home? Does it have to be from 8 AM to 5 PM, or can it be done after hours, when the father can take over childcare duties?
MUTTERSCHAFFT provides examples, offers tips, and connects mothers and fathers with innovative companies. By the way, most of the employees at the Delphi Group are parents. MUTTERSCHAFFT is also born out of our own positive experiences.
